UPF 50+ protection for prolonged sun exposure

The fabric incorporates sun-protective technology rated to UPF 50+, helping block harmful UV radiation during extended time outdoors. Unlike sunscreen, protection remains active without reapplication and continuously covers areas most exposed to direct sunlight.

Protects the areas most exposed to the sun

The removable rear shade flap provides additional coverage for the neck and ears—areas frequently exposed during hiking, field work, fishing, and outdoor travel.

Removable protection when conditions change

Unlike fixed-flap designs, the Skyshield allows the neck shade to be removed when full coverage is unnecessary, giving users the flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.

Flap remains controlled in windy conditions

A front retention button secures the neck flap during strong frontal winds, helping prevent unwanted movement and distraction.

Ventilation positioned where heat builds up

Side ventilation ports are positioned in key heat-generating areas of the head, improving airflow and helping reduce heat accumulation during prolonged wear.

Packable without losing its shape

The foldable construction allows compact storage in backpacks and travel kits, while the internal ribbon system helps the cap recover and maintain its shape after unpacking.
